Track 1: Bioprocessing

Bioprocessing focuses on the development, optimization, scale-up, and manufacturing of complex biological medicines and therapeutic products. Topics include cell-line development, upstream processing, bioreactor design, fermentation, downstream purification, and process optimization. Researchers can explore continuous manufacturing, single-use systems, process analytical technology (PAT), automation, and real-time quality monitoring. The track highlights strategies for improving production efficiency, consistency, scalability, and product quality. Emerging approaches such as advanced bioreactors, digital manufacturing, and AI-assisted process control are particularly relevant. Innovative bioprocessing technologies that can reduce manufacturing costs and expand global access to life-saving medicines are encouraged.
